Mayoral challenger Steve Francis today announced the endorsements of two more labor unions, the Cement Masons Local 500/Area 744 and the International Association of Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers, Local #5.
Francis has recently been endorsed by Unite Here, the hotel and restaurant workers union, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 569.
The candidate’s courtship of organized labor has surprised those who knew Francis in his previous political life as a Republican assemblyman in Nevada.
