This headline has two meanings. The first references the teachers union’s growing isolation.
The second comes with a question mark — The Teacher Revolt? Following last week’s rapid build up and then dissolution of collaboration between the teachers union and San Diego Unified, we saw some rumblings among teachers about the union leadership’s lack of cooperation.
We talked through the tension, which is shaping up to be a major storyline this year, in the latest edition of VOSD Radio. We also fact checked mayoral candidate Carl DeMaio and county Supervisor Ron Roberts, and handed out the Hero (Omar Passons) and Goat (U-T San Diego) of the week.
